Sonya Pailes:

 I am Sonya Pailes I am a CPM - Certified Professional Midwife as well as a CBE - Childbirth Educator, Doula and Aquanatal Instructor.

I have 1 very patient and supportive husband as well as 6 very individual children (well now 3 children, 1 teen and two young adults:-)  ranging in age from 2 years to 20 years old. (I have 3 girls and three boys) Three of my children were born medication free in the hospital and three were born at home. 

From 1998 till 2002 I owned Miracles Supply where we carried Homeschool supplies, Survival and Camping supplies, Back to basics items, Kitchenware, Bulk food, Gardening supplies, Herbs and more.

I started studying the childbirth field and pregnancy/birth  care and issues in 1994, I became a Doula in 1998, a Childbirth Educator in 2000, I apprenticed and studied to become a Midwife than began my Midwifery practice in October of 2005 and became a CPM in  2007.

I view my services/ Miracles Childbirth Services as Unique, Valuable, Informative, Empowering, Holistic, Respectful, Nurturing and Evidence based.

My family moved here to Dallas, GA in Paulding county in January 2008.

Crystal Bowden:

 I am a birth doula and educator and started working with Miracles Childbirth Services as an assistant, Childbirth educator in 2009. I began my DONA training as a birth doula in October 2007 and I am currently working on finishing up my certification. In January 2008, I began working towards my childbirth education certification with ALACE.
I live in Douglasville, GA with my wonderful husband Michael and one very handsome little boy, Haden! Haden was born on September 23, 2006 and I am currently dreaming about adding a new addition to our family. Haden is a breastfeeding, co-sleeping, cloth diaper-wearing toddler! He is a future homeschooler that loves to learn, laugh and play. He is continually an inspiration to me.

I believe that women have the power to call on their own natural maternal instinct and birth their babies with joy. I want to help women understand that birth is a natural process that our bodies were built to handle and that there is nothing to be afraid of. My job is to help women achieve their ideal birth, whatever that may be. I believe that knowledge is power.

 Carrie Sullivan:

Hi I am Carrie. I've been married to my wonderful husband David for 7 years and we have two spectacular boys; Caleb and Leland. My passion for pregnancy and birth started when my first was born via cesarean section. I promised myself I would not have anymore surgical births and when I was pregnant with my second baby we decided to have a homebirth. It was the most amazing experience and I loved every second of it! I recently attended a doula training and am an apprentice midwife. I believe God has designed our bodies to birth our babies naturally and that birth is a powerful rite of passage.
